2024 Canadian Championships – Penticton

The live Canadian Championships will be held from June 10-16, 2024, in Penticton, B.C. in parallel with the Penticton Regional. The Round Robin qualifiers for the team events have been completed on RealBridge. The following teams have qualified to advance to the next stage in the competition and have chosen their match competitors in accordance with the Condition of Contest.

CBF Special General Meeting

The vote is on approval of Board of Directors recommendation to amend the CBF By-laws, specifically article 1.07 concerning the appointment of auditors, to change from an audit to a review. This change, which represents a significant difference in cost, complies with the Act governing the corporation and takes effect on January 1, 2023.

Canada-Wide Game on BBO – April 20: COPC Qualifier

On Saturday, April 20, the Canada-wide game on BBO will serve as a qualifier for the Canadian Open Pairs Championship (COPC), which will take place June 12-13 in Penticton, BC.
This match will start at 1:15 p.m. EST. Search “CBF” in BBO competitive for game registration.

The game is for CBF members only and is an opportunity to play with and against fellow Canadian players. Please help us spread the word and thank you for supporting Canadian bridge.

The Great Canadian Bidding Contest: June 2024 Problems

In the March 2024 issue of Bridge Canada magazine, you can review the problems of the latest Canadian auction, along with the answers and comments of the experts.
