2023-2024 Online Team League

We will once again play our Online Team League on BBO.

New this year: Division B for any team with players having less than 2500MPs and free for this group.
Zoom Meeting for the B teams, on Monday, September 25 at 8:00pm Est.

The registration deadline for the 2023-2024 season is September 22, 2023. To register, click here.

CBF Board of Directors

Elections this year are for Zone 3 and Zone 6 of the CBF.
Zone 3 is Units 166, 246, 249 and 255, and Zone 6 is Units 429, 430, 431, 456, 571 and 574. 

The 3-year term begins January 1, 2024.

Monthly Canada-Wide Game on BBO: October 21

The next monthly Canada-Wide games on BBO will be held on Saturday, October 21 (Third Saturday of the Month):
– 499er: 1:00pm EST
– Open: 1:h15 EST
New Feature: Zoom Post-game analysis to follow at 3:30 p.m. EST. To include a review of a couple of hands and a brief discussion/question period. The link will be posted here before the game.

2024 Canadian Championships

The 2024 Canadian Championships will be held in Penticton, B.C. from June 10 to 18 in parallel with the Penticton Regional. 
Once again, the round robin team qualifiers will be held on-line in January and February. Continue reading to see the round robin dates for the various events and registration deadlines.

Membership Rate Increase

Due to increased costs post Covid, the CBF needs to increase membership dues. Effective July 1, 2023 the CBF annual membership will increase from $20 to $25: $25 for one year, $65 for 3 years.
