Congratulations to our Canadian players in the Youth Championships – Jacob Freeman (Under 26 event) and Darwin Li (Under 16 event)- both Gold medal winners! You can see their pictures on the podium in the Thursday Bulletin, Bul_04.indd (worldbridge.org. Darwin Li has won a second Gold medal in the U16 Open Teams. His partner for the Championships was a 13 year old from India who he has played with for just one month! Bruce Zhu has won gold in the U26 teams beating Jacob Freeman’s team in the final.
The 16th World Bridge Series will be taking place August 19th – September 3rd in Wroclaw, Poland. This is an Open event which means that anyone can enter.
