2025 Junior Trials

The 2025 Junior Trials will be held December 28 – 30.
The Trials will be played online (on RealBridge) to cater to out-of-Ontario players. Players in the Greater Toronto Area are to bring a device (such as a laptop or iPad – not a phone) and meet at the Mississauga-Oakville Bridge Center. The $10 registration fee covers three days of bridge play. Times will be determined at a later date. Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided.
Deadline to register for the Trials: December 1, 2024. Link to register.
The CBF is planning to send two teams to the 2025 World Championships next summer. If you have any questions please email Andy Stark at juniors@cbf.ca.

2025 Canadian Bridge Championships

It’s time to register for the team events of the 2025 Canadian Bridge Championships.
The round robin stage of all team events will be played online in January and February 2025.

The knockout stage (Finals) will be played live in Toronto from April 14 to 20 in conjuction with the Toronto Easter Regional.

CBF Online (BBO) CNTC / COPC Qualifiers

The CBF games on BBO for the remainder of the year will serve as qualifiers for the CNTC and COPC.
Next game: Sunday, December 1, 2:00 p.m EST – Teams.
Continue reading to see all dates for pairs and teams qualifying games and how to register on BBO.
You can also qualify at your COPC/CNTC sanctioned club game (extra MPs) to ensure you are eligible to play in the Canadian Team Championship (CNTC -A, B, C) or COPC. No qualification is required for the other team events (CWTC, CSTC, CMTC), but you are all welcome to take part in these matches scheduled between September and December 2024.

16th World Bridge Games: Congratulations to Dan Jacob and Piotr Klimowicz and to the Jacob senior team

Congratulations to Dan Jacob and Piotr Klimowicz, who won the gold medal in the Senior Pairs at the 16th World Bridge Games. Congratulations also to the Jacob senior team for their 5-8 ranking in their category. Quite an achievement!
In 2024, 16th World Bridge Games were held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from October 22 to November 3. We are proud of all the Canadians who took part in these games, and who competed among the best in the world!
