Bridge Rate: $124 + tx per night based on double occupancy, $115 + tx for seniors 65+.
15$ per additional guest. Breakfast included.

Event Information

The Canadian Bridge Championships include both national and regional level events. CBF membership is only required to participate in any of the National Championships.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Note: Any of the Nationl Team Championships may be cancelled if fewer than 6 teams register by the specified pre-registration deadline.

CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS (CNTC)

Flight-A - Saturday May 26 – Sunday June 3
  • Open event with no masterpoint restrictions
  • Team Entry Fee: $720 for the 4-day Round Robin
  • Team pre-registration is required before March 11, 2018
  • Each player must have earned club qualification. However, club qualification may be purchased from the CBF Office, prior to May 12, 2018, for a $100 fee.

Flight-B - Saturday May 26 – Tuesday May 29
  • Restricted to players with fewer than 2,500 masterpoints as of September 2017 masterpoint cycle (run by ACBL data processing on August 6, 2017)
  • $1,500 cash prize for the winning team
  • Team Entry Fee: $360 for the 2-day Round Robin
  • Team pre-registration is required before March 11, 2018
  • Each player must have earned club qualification. However, club qualification may be purchased from the CBF Office, prior to May 12, 2018, for a $50 fee.

CANADIAN SENIORS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (CSTC) - Wednesday May 30 – Sunday June 3
  • Restricted to players born prior to January 1st 1958
  • Team Entry Fee: $540 for the 3-day Round Robin
  • Team pre-registration is required before March 11, 2018

CANADIAN IMP PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP (CIPC) - Friday June 1
  • Two session event
  • Pair Entry Fee: $80
  • Cash prizes (1st - $400, 2nd - $250, 3rd - $150)

CANADIAN OPEN PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP (COPC) - Saturday June 2 - Sunday June 3
  • A player who has not participated in the CNTC, CWTC or CSTC must have earned club qualification to play in the COPC. However, club qualification may be purchased for a $25 fee.
  • Two session qualifying on Saturday and two session final on Sunday
  • Pair Entry Fee: $80/day
  • Cash prizes (1st - $1,500, 2nd - $750)
