The first time Sharyn represented Canada was at the 1972 Olympiad Teams in Miami finishing 7th. At this time, she had been playing for just three years.

She has won 10 Canadian Women’s Team Championships and represented Canada 16 times at the World Championship team events, finishing third three times – Venice 1988, Perth 1989 and Rhodes in 1996. Sharyn also represented Canada five times in World Pair events and has attained the rank of World Life Master.

Sharyn played with Diana Gordon for close to forty years. Sharyn and Diana were for years the best Canadian women’s pair and one of the best in the world.
