CBF Junior program

Now that we moved past the worst of COVID and with the 2023 Junior World Championships on the horizon in August of 2023 we are working on our Junior program.
The first step is to identify players who are interested in participating in our Junior program and taking part in mentoring programs and practice sessions.
We will coordinate online practice sessions, try to find partners for those who need them and introduce them to various programs within the CBF that may be of benefit to them. There are several groups, ranging from under 16 to under 31 years old.
If you are interested in the program, please send an email to juniors@cbf.ca with the required details.

CBF Online Team League 2022/2023

We will once again play our Online Team League on BBO. We are hoping to award masterpoints this year — more info to come on this.
We hope to have 3 divisions — the Open, B – under 3,500 and C – under 1,000. The fees per team will be $240 for A, $180 for B and C. The prizes for the winning teams will be CBF credits: $480 for A, $360 each for B and C. (this is assuming we get at least 6 teams in each division).
As before, each team can have up to 8 players. There will be a match date for each match, but you can reschedule a match for anytime earlier and up to 10 days after the match date.
Registration deadline is October 7. Registration Link. After registration, we will ask teams to provide BBO names and convention cards for posting on the CBF site.
