About the event

What is a STaC?

STaC is an abbreviation for Sectional Tournament at Clubs. It is a special sectional tournament played at multiple clubs in a specific area over several days.

STaC games carry sectional rating, and the masterpoints awarded are silver points.

The CBF Canada-Wide STaC brings participating clubs from across the country together and is usually held in mid-February.

Play locally

Participate in a registered Canada-Wide STaC session at your local bridge club.

Results are combined

Each club sends its game results to the director-in-charge of the event.

Compete nationwide

Overall awards compare the results from every game held during the same session as though everyone played at one site.
