How it works

Register Your Pair

Register online as a pair — one female and one male partner. Both players must hold CBF membership in good standing at the time of registration and play.

Compete Over Four Sessions

Two sessions each day on RealBridge — Saturday and Sunday, November 7–8. Day 1 scores carry forward into Day 2’s championship sessions.

Crown the Champions

After four sessions, the pair with the highest overall score is crowned the 2026 CMPC Champions.

Eligibility

CBF Membership

Both players must be members of the Canadian Bridge Federation in good standing at the time of registration and play.

Mixed Pair

Each pair consists of one female and one male partner. Both partners register together as a pair.

RealBridge Ready

Both players must have a RealBridge account set up before registering — see the RealBridge setup instructions. A device with a working camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection, are required.

Convention Cards

Players must upload their convention cards to the CBF website in PDF format before the registration deadline.

Conditions of Play

During the event

  • The event is played as a two-day, four-session online pairs event on RealBridge.
  • The use of phones or other electronic devices during play is prohibited, except for the device used for RealBridge.
  • Players are responsible for self-alerting and explaining bids using the RealBridge interface.
  • Players are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and sportsmanlike manner.
  • The Tournament Director should be called immediately for irregularities, claims disputes, or technical issues.
  • The event is governed by the Laws of Duplicate Bridge, the CBF General Conditions of Contest, and the Supplemental Conditions of Contest.
