All Round Robin matches will be held online on RealBridge, in January and February. We will be holding the face-to-face playoff rounds for all events in Penticton BC, June 15-21, 2026, (in parallel with the Penticton Regional). The COPC will be held on RealBridge, scheduled April 25-26, 2026.

  • * Fridays will be used if necessary, depending on the number of teams registered.
  • Open and Mixed Teams will initially be charged for 3 days. Unused time will be refunded in .5-day increments.   
  • Women and Seniors will initially be charged for 2 days. If additional time is required, you will be charged in .5-day increments.   
  • CNTC-B – All members must have less than 3500 MPs as of Sept. 30, 2025
  • CNTC-C – All members must have less than 1000 MPs as of Sept. 30, 2025
  • Convention Cards must be provided to team-info@cbf.ca at least two weeks before the scheduled date of the Round Robin.
  • The Knockout phase will be played in Penticton, at the Penticton Trade and Convention Center, 273 Power Street, Penticton, BC, V2A 7K9

COPC – Canadian Open Pairs Championship: the COPC will be held on RealBridge, scheduled April 25-26, 2026.

Qualification

All players must earn or buy their qualification to participate in the Teams Championship Events: CNTC-A, CSTC, CWTC, CMTC, to become eligible to play in any of these events in Round Robin Stage. Qualifying games are held at sanctioned clubs across Canada during the period September 1st – December 31st. The CBF will hold matches online in the fall of 2025 that will serve as qualifiers [CBF Games – Qualifiers].

A separate qualification is required for the COPC and Team events. A player qualifies as an individual. A team qualification is valid for any team championship. Any player who has not qualified for any reason, may purchase club round qualification. More details in the Supplemental Conditions of Contest (Section 5).
