Congratulations to Dan Jacob and Peter Klimowicz who won the Senior Pairs at the 2024 World Bridge Games held this past October. At the same games, Dan Jacob’s team qualified for the round of 16 in the Senior teams, where they played against Poland, whom they defeated. Team member John Carruthers describes some interesting and decisive hands from their journey. Also, an interesting article featuring the Open team finals at the Canadian Bridge Championships in Penticton, one including answers and comments from the panel of experts at the latest Bidding Contest, and more.
We invite you to enter the next Canadian Bidding Contest (December 2024) and see how your answers compare against the Expert panel in the next issue.
