SUPPORT
YOUR NATIONAL BRIDGE FEDERATION!
$12
CDN PER YEAR
Whether
renewing by mail or by internet, be sure to read your ACBL membership
renewal forms carefully. Please be sure to include the
CBF fee. Your decision to include the $12.00 CDN per
year with your ACBL renewal will help ensure that Canada can
maintain a National Bridge Organization.
The
Canadian Bridge Federation (CBF) urges all Canadian ACBL members
to support their National Bridge Federation. For the small fee
of $12.00 (Canadian) a year you can ensure that the CBF continues
to promote bridge in Canada.
For $15 a year - people can take out CBF membership directly
from the CBF. First time members and Juniors under 25 pay $8
per year. ($10 if paid directly to the CBF).
The
CBF publishes and mails the magazine Bridge Canada three times
a year to all CBF members.
The
CBF runs many events through out the year (CNTC-A and CNTC-B,
COPC, CWTC, Helen Shields and Erin Berry Rookie-Master Games,
CBF STAC and CBF Regional).
The
CBF ensures that Charity dollars raised in Canada go to Canadian
Charities; publishes this magazine (Bridge Canada); and maintains
a CBF website www.cbf.ca.
The
CBF conducts an annual Bridge Week with finals in the CNTC-A
& B, CWTC, COPC, CIPC, and CSTC.
The
CBF runs a Junior Development Fund which not only selects, trains,
and supports junior teams to represent Canada in International
Competitions but in addition plans to support grassroots events
that will help bring more young players into bridge.
Financial
support is provided for teams that represent Canada in International
Competition. The CBF acts as a liaison with the ACBL and the
WBF to ensure that Canadian concerns are raised with these organizations.
Whether
renewing by mail or by internet, be sure to read your ACBL membership
renewal forms carefully. Please be sure to include the CBF fee.
Your decision to include the $12.00 CDN per year with your ACBL
renewal will help ensure that Canada can maintain a National
Bridge Organization.
Thank you very much.
